Mark Winkler’s critically acclaimed debut novel, An Exceptionally Simple Theory (of Absolutely Everything), was published in 2015 and followed a year later by Wasted, published internationally as My Name is Nathan Lucius, and longlisted for the Sunday Times Barry Ronge Fiction Prize in 2016.

The Safest Place You Know and Theo & Flora were shortlisted for the Sunday Times Fiction Prize in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

His fifth novel, Due South of Copenhagen, was published in April 2020.

Mark has been shortlisted for the Sunday Times Fiction Prize in 2017, 2019 and 2021, and longlisted in 2016. He is published internationally in English and French. 

The Errors of Doctor Browne, published in August 2022, is his sixth novel.
